In August 2017, SAE Quantm opened the doors to a state-of-the-art art audio and media campus at 39 Regent St, Chippendale. Formally an old office block, the new campus is set across 7 levels in the heart of the arts and cultural community in Chippendale.
Along with normal project considerations, renovation of the building posed its own challenges due to the off-square shape of the building. Supplying a complete lighting package for the project, Vision Lighting included custom Alinya extrusion made to a wide variety of lengths to suit the irregular shaped rooms.
Packed full of technology, the various recording, film and gaming studios also feature bespoke RGBW tube pendants controlled by DMX. Ring pendants and track lighting complete the lighting package and create a positive creative atmosphere for students at the new campus.
